Abstract
The Time-series microarray data that we used to demonstrate the algorithm was received from the groups of Prof. A. Lægreid and Prof. M. Kuiper. In the original submission we accidently referred to the source of the raw data, GSE32869 and GSE13009, but we actually received and used modified datasets. Specifically, in the Methods section we write, ≪Prior to the expression data fitting, we performed the selection of the differentially expressed genes based on fold change and p-value including normalization.≫, whereas this selection actually was performed by other groups at our University. We would like therefore to add the following acknowledgements:
The authors N.D.J and N.B. would like to thank Prof. A. Laegreid, NTNU, Prof. M. Kuiper, NTNU, their research groups, and their associates at the St. Olav’s hospital, for providing us with the time series microarray data used to demonstrate the noise removal algorithm.
