Zusammenfassung
Für eine hohe Patientensicherheit ist gerade angesichts weltweit kritischer Entwicklungen (wie bei Resistenzen) eine aktive und gut organisierte Krankenhaushygiene essentiell. Mit den in diesem Kapitel dargestellten, weitgehend verbindlichen Vorgaben zur organisatorischen und personellen Ausgestaltung effektiver krankenhaushygienischer Teams wurden notwendige Voraussetzungen für die vielfältig vernetzten Vor-Ort-Tätigkeiten zur nosokomialen Infektionsprävention geschaffen.
