„Mögest Du interessante Zeiten erleben“, das ist im Chinesischen kein besonders freundlicher Wunsch. Interessante Zeiten sind unruhige, ja gefährliche Zeiten. Aber ob wir es uns gewünscht haben oder nicht, wir leben in „interessanten“ Zeiten. Die internationalen Kräfteverhältnisse verschieben sich. Asien ist im Aufschwung und Europa büßt an Relevanz ein, jedenfalls relativ; in der gegenwärtigen Krise sogar ganz massiv und offenkundig.
