Abstract
This chapter discusses briefly different aspects and strategies to be considered in the publication process. Beneficial factors on different levels are collected. The common approach of a bottom-up strategy, i.e. from an easier step to a more challenging publication, is discussed in the context of the publication pyramid. Finally, some considerations in the journal selection process are worked out.
