Zusammenfassung

Die Navigation ist eine inzwischen etablierte und ausgereifte Technologie zur Unterstützung der Knieendoprothesenimplantation. Sie erlaubt unabhängig von intra- oder extraartikulären Deformitäten eine präzise Implantatpositionierung. Moderne Systeme erlauben die Kontrolle der Weichteilspannung und unterstützen den Operateur dadurch beim Weichteilbalancing. Neben den klassischen Operationsphilosophien der knöchernen oder aber der weichteilreferenzierten Knochenschnitte können auch aktuelle Trends wie die individualisierte Implantatpositionierung durch Navigationssysteme sinnvoll umgesetzt werden.
