Zusammenfassung
Als Standardzugänge für die Implantation einer Kniegelenksendoprothese haben sich vor allem der mediale, parapatellare Zugang und bei schweren Valgusgonarthrosen auch der laterale, parapatellare Zugang bewährt. In der Bemühung, möglichst kurze Hautschnitte und eine möglichst geringe Beeinträchtigung der Muskulatur zu erzielen, wurden vor allem mediale, minimal-invasive Zugänge eingeführt, wie der Midvastus-, der Subvastus und der „Quad-sparing“-Zugang. Ein lateraler, minimal-invasiver Zugang ist i. d. R. nur für die Implantation einer lateralen Schlittenprothese gebräuchlich.
