Abstract
Like the normative database in Chapter 5, a thermal atlas such as this one provides thermographic images of healthy bodies that may used for comparison during diagnosis. It displays the standard body positions for capturing thermographic images of the whole body and specific body parts. As noted earlier in section 2.1, the use of standard positions can enhance reproducible temperature interpretation, and overall consistency in thermographic results.
