Abstract

By the long-time of the insulator resistance testing of multi-core cables, a new insulator resistance tester based on an intelligent test system consisting of an embedded controller, two relay matrixes, and so on is presented. To meet the demands of the cables with kinds of BNC connector plugs, the connecting cables, one port of which is with the standard connecter to plug in the design tester and the other port of which is with the special connecter to interconnect testing cables, are also designed. With the using of the tester, the insulator resistance testing time is shorted much.
