This paper presents a method of wideband coherent signal-subspace estimate by single vector hydrophone (SVH). The wideband array signal model of SVH is constructed, and the wideband focusing matrixes is first introduced into wideband processing of SVH. The relationship between focusing matrixes of SVH and acoustic pressure-sensor array is derived, thus it provides a method for the construction of wideband focusing matrixes of SVH. The wideband spatial spectrum of SVH is derived; the wideband focusing data of SVH in this paper is achieved by two-sided correlation transformation (TCT) technology without preliminary estimates or a priori knowledge of the spatial distribution of the sources. The simulation results demonstrate that the single vector hydrophone wideband TCT focusing algorithm has more superior performances, it can resolve wideband coherent source problems; realize unambiguous direction finding in the whole space; improve the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR); and lower resolution threshold.
