Abstract
Based on the characteristics of Beijing traffic system, a model is built to calculate the energy consumption of urban road and rail transit and emissions of green house gas and their total amounts are calculated. At the same time, the comparison and analysis have been done to the energy consumption per capita per km and carbon dioxide emissions of different transportation means such as rail transit, public electric cars and social cars and so on.
