Abstract
A whole vehicle SEA model is established by hybrid method combining body structure and sound package. Modal density, damping loss factor and sound package material parameters are obtained by testing and then applied into the vehicle model. The vehicle acoustic performances are tested at both ideal running condition and operating condition, and the tested results at ideal running condition are used to correct the SEA model. The outer cavity sound pressure tested in vehicle at operating condition is used as the excitation for prediction of the interior noise. The difference between the predicted interior noise and the tested results is less than 3 dB(A), which shows good correlation. Two optimized methods are proposed to reduce a vehicle interior noise by 1 ~ 3 dB(A) without the changes of weight.
