Zusammenfassung

Mit dem verstärkten Einsatz des Cholin-PET-CT wird eine oligometastatische pulmonale Beteiligung an der Systemerkrankung immer häufiger werden. Dann ist eine sorgfältige Abwägung von Primärhistologie, PSA-Dynamik, Gesamtsituation und Wunsch des Patienten und einer akkuraten Bildgebung inklusive Skelettszintigraphie vorzunehmen. Es ist davon auszugehen, dass Thoraxchirurgen in Zukunft häufiger mit pulmonalen Metastasen eines Prostatakarzinoms zu tun haben werden.
