Abstract

In this paper, we study the Range-free localization algorithm using the ratio of distances based on the DV-HOP algorithm in wireless sensor networks. An improved SDDV-HOP (Shortest Distances DV-HOP) algorithm is proposed by modifying the network average hop distance. The simulation results show that SDDV-HOP algorithm can improve the localization accuracy greatly compared with DV-HOP algorithm.
