Chapter
Part of the Environmental Science and Engineering book series (ESE)

Abstract

The Chapter points out that, ideally, the inventory report (viz. the last phase) should relate to problem formulation (viz. the first phase) and contain the background information or the concerns, which led to the inventory, followed by formulation of objectives, information need assessment, organization and analysis of the existing data, design of survey, data collection, data processing, and main findings. Processed Tables could preferably be kept as a part of the Technical Annex, whereas the Technical Report should contain key findings of the inventory (including its reliability) and how they contribute to the decision making process.
