Abstract
The foregoing chapters have been devoted to the discussion of various issues related to multilingual processing. Theoretical in nature, they have concentrated on three main areas: the presentation of various aspects of the multifaceted concept of multilingualism, the discussion of various theoretical models developed to operationalize the mechanisms responsible for mono- and multilingual lexical processing and the delineation of different factors influencing the multilingual lexical access.
