Abstract
Specific structure of reducer can be designed through the application of thickened gear into reducer. Transmission ratio of the reducer can be calculated by relative velocity method. Then constraint of each element is being matched, assembly path and process is being designed. Coordinate Transformation Method and Matrix Method are adopted for interference check of virtual assembly. It turns out that no interference phenomena occur during engagement process of thickened gear. Sectional views of meshing in different time points testify the correctness of interference check method and serves as the theoretical reference for virtually assembling reducer.
