Abstract
The aim of CM4 is to give an overview of the factors which influence the decision-making process to produce internationally and show the implications of such a decision. The chapter outlines the different types of operations in an international context. These are developed further in terms of the different international strategies. The strategies are then aligned with the various supply chain strategies in a further step. In addition the implications that these strategies have on practice are determined.
