Spatial Distribution of Icequakes in the Hans Glacier

Part of the GeoPlanet: Earth and Planetary Sciences book series (GEPS)

In this chapter we present an analysis of data of icequakes series recorded in spring and summer seasons at Hans Glacier, Spitsbergen. The determination of spatial distribution of icequakes in Hans Glacier is based on temporary measurement networks placed on glacier surface. A comparison of three spring and summer series of icequakes has been made.
