Abstract
The basic theory of quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) is simply introduced and its applications are discussed in areas of biology, chemistry and other aspects including immunosensor, DNA sensor, and electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance. The paper introduces its application in electronic engineering. The research tendency is also presented in the future
