Abstract

The remote sensing technology has some characteristics in exploring geothermal resource, such as rapidity, economization, large-scale and free from environmental constraints. In the study of geothermal forecast in Shaoxing-Zhuji area of Zhejiang province, we built a model of geothermal forecast based on remote sensing technology, then interpreted the geological information and extracted the thermal abnormity information by fully using the remote sensing data of ETM+ and ASTER. Finally, we did a GIS synthesized analysis based on all kinds of information we have got, such as geological information and thermal abnormity information. The result of the study is well, we define ten geothermal abnormity areas which are beneficial to find geothermal resource, this is proved that the model we have built is professional and valuable to some extent, so the study can point the direct for exploring geothermal resource.
