Abstract

La Asociación Colombiana de Bioingeniería y Electrónica Médica (ABIOIN) nació en 1993 en Bucaramanga, Santander, Colombia. Posteriormente se establecieron capítulos regionales en Antioquia, en las ciudades del eje cafetero, en la región Caribe, en Cundinamarca y Valle del Cauca. Desde esta época comenzó a organizar seminarios, rondas tecnológicas y simposios en temas específicos de Bioingeniería.
