Zusammenfassung
Bei vielen psychischen Erkrankungen spielt die Beeinträchtigung des emotionalen Erlebens eine wichtige Rolle. Während affektive Symptome einiger psychischer Erkrankungen nur Teile des Krankheitsbildes sind, stellen diese Symptome bei den affektiven Störungen die zentrale Funktionsstörung dar. Die funktionelle Bildgebung hat bereits einen großen Anteil an der Aufklärung dieser Symptome und des Verhaltens bei affektiven Störungen geleistet und wird gerade in Hinblick auf die Untersuchung dynamischer Systeminteraktionen und deren Relation zur Heterogenität der Erkrankung eine große Rolle spielen. Im Fokus dieses Kapitels stehen Befunde zur Major Depression und der bipolaren Störung.
