Abstract
One important factor of influencing the electronic belt scale accuracy is that the motor speed can not follow the given speed. To improve the dynamic performance of the motor in electronic belt scale, fuzzy control, fuzzy PI control, self-tuning fuzzy PI control, and fuzzy PID control are introduced into the electronic belt scale control in the paper. It is indicated that fuzzy PID control is the best in those four control methods through simulation and compared analysis. Fuzzy PID method not only control the motor running more precisely and smoothly, but also improve the anti-jamming ability and robustness. The weighing accuracy problem of belt scale can be resolved by applying fuzzy PID control.
