Abstract

The CNC lathe will vibrate during turning if it is excited by the off-center force. Vibration is a key factor effecting image quality of CCD in the lathe. One degree of freedom spring-mass-damper mechanical model of the CNC lathe is built. And, the corresponding mathematical model and simulative model are also built. We used Modulation Transfer Function (MTF) to evaluate the influence of vibration on image quality. The effect of linear and angular displacements due to the vibration on the imaging quality is presented. Relationship of image motion with linear and angular displacement is established. It is concluded that the angular displacement is the key factor effecting image quality after having made qualitative analysis on motion image according to practical project.
