Abstract
Electronic Health, or E-health, has become a rather hot topic for quite a while now in Australia. The actual practice of it, however, has not been as quick as people would have hoped. There are a number of obstacles in its wider implementation, especially for general practitioners in the urban area.
This presentation will try to give an overview of the E-health in Australia, its current practice especially from a general practitioner’s (GP) point of view. The advantages as well as its limitations will also be discussed, together with a forecasted future prospect of E-health in Australia.
