Zusammenfassung

Die Grundidee dieses Zugangs für die Hämodialyse stammt von W. D. Brittinger, der die Vorverlagerung der A. femoralis superficialis für Punktionen zuerst beschrieb (Brittinger et al. 1969). Diese Methode wurde wegen häufiger Mikroembolien verlassen. Die nachfolgend beschriebene Methode wurde 1994 für einen Patienten mit Verschluss aller großen Venen entwickelt.
