Abstract
This paper reviews the policy risks existing in the process of developing commodity houses in Mainland China. Policy risks have been identified, and their effects on the implementation of a property project across various stages have been analyzed. The study provides useful references for professionals, in particular those overseas property investors, to identify proper risk management strategies for mitigating the effects of policy risks to their property business in the Chinese market.
