The Study of Parametric Modeling and Finite Element Analysis System of Skirt Support

Abstract

Combining APDL in ANSYS with VC, the Parametric Modeling and Finite Element Analysis system of skirt support is developed. In the system, VC is used to establish dialog interfaces and encapsulate the process of ANSYS finite element analysis, the system itself will produce the APDL program and run ANSYS automatically through inputting the needed parameters, which realizes the parameterized finite element analysis of the skirt support. A case study is used to prove the feasibility of this system.
