Choice of Anaesthesia Drugs and Medications
Most important in the treatment of patients with brain injury is to maintain oxygenation and blood pressure while securing airway and circulation in order to ensure the best outcome for the patients. Sedatives and analgesics are widely used to treat pain and agitation in prehospital setting as well as during operative procedures and intensive care.
