Abstract
The new high-speed railway will shift the focus from the capacity management system to the customer-centric passenger services system for the entire rail travelling experience. The Transit Operation Platform (TOP) is the key element to support passenger service mainframe. It monitors and controls the operation of all devices and subsystems in the stations, regions and lines. Based on the analysis of business requirements, in combination of survey of the proven technical approaches of the industry, this paper presents the research and development work on the TOP architecture design, core technologies and real implementation.
