The most commonly experienced symptom in this proving was an overall increase in energy. This was unusual. This proving was also characterized by a large number of skin complaints. Many of these skin symptoms were of a dry and itchy nature, with flaking, scaly, and patchy eruptions also present. There was a tendency for the skin symptoms to be visible and red. These skin symptoms occurred on the head, the back, and the extremities. There were also a variety of musculoskeletal complaints, primarily stiffness and pain, similar to what one would expect in arthritis. There were also a variety of GI complaints, primarily nausea and increased thirst. Headaches were also common These results appear to be consistent with, and build on, the previously available clinical information, dating back to Hahnemann, for the homeopathic symptom picture of Oleander.
