Medical physics and evolving technology: hybrid systems and solid state imaging

Abstract

Medical Physics is an important sub-group of the Institute of Nuclear Medicine’s personnel, contributing to both research activity and support of clinical services. The Medical Physics group was very ably led for many years by Dr Peter Jarritt (now Clinical Director of Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering Cambridge at University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust). He was replaced for a short period until 2003 by Dr Glyn Davies, and currently the Clinical Physics Group that supports the NHS clinical activity is led by Ms Wendy Waddington.
