This chapter provides the enthalpy of formation of Mn2Sc.


With high-temperature calorimetry at 1123 K Pisch et al. [01Pis] have determined the standard enthalpy of formation of Mn2Sc with ΔHS298 = −15.7 ± 2.5 kJ g-atom−1. Due to thermodynamic assessment of this system performed by [98Pis] there has been obtained ΔHS298 = −15.5 kJ g-atom−1 for Mn2Sc.
