Kriminalität – Theory of Mind außer Kraft?

Zusammenfassung

Im Folgenden wird die Frage nach dem Verhältnis zwischen Kriminalität und Theory of Mind (ToM) gestellt, und dies aus dem Blickwinkel der forensischen Psychiatrie, darin vorzugsweise aus dem Feld des Maßregelvollzugs. Weil das Verhältnis zu sich selbst immer irgendwie mit dem Verhältnis zu den anderen zusammenhängt und weil Letzteres in einer Deliktform, nämlich den Gewalt- und Sexualstraftaten, eine besonders augenfällige Rolle spielt, wird sich das nachfolgende Kapitel gerade mit diesen auseinandersetzen. Hierzu ist es allerdings erforderlich, sich zunächst einen – zwangsweise lückenhaften – einführenden Überblick über die Gruppe der Sexualstraftäter im Maßregelvollzug zu verschaffen.
