Abstract

Hydraulic and pneumatic transmission technologies have play an important role in national economy and defense construction. They are the key to boost the performance of mechanical and electrical products and also to ensure the implement large engineering projects and huge heavy machinery and equipments. In China, there is an increasing demand for well-qualified professionals in hydraulic and pneumatic transmission. Taken Fujian Province as an example, two leading companies in this field, Xiamen XiaGong (XG) Machinery Co., Ltd and Lonking Machinery Co., Ltd recruit a large number of students with the background of hydraulic and pneumatic transmission every year. . In this paper, three means, including multimedia lectures, English-Chinese bilingual lectures and university-industry consortium, have been introduced in the course of “hydraulic and pneumatic transmission” at School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation, Fuzhou University, China. These effects are to attract more students to study hydraulic and pneumatic transmission and to service the related companies.
