Abstract
Bio-systems engineering specialty is developed from traditional agricultural engineering science, and was first set up in Zhejiang University in 2002. The course and experimental system are gradually established and matured in recent years. To meet the requirement of practice ability improvement and analyze current status of experiment and practice system, three possible ways to extend the experimental and practice system are explored: (1) sharing the research lab facilities to extend the scope and depth of experimental teaching; (2) integrating design in course teaching; (3) co-operating with the company to participate in project implementation process, and engaging experienced technician as experimental and practice tutor. The possible measures are discussed and analyzed.
