Abstract

In the cutting processing of numerical controller, curve fitting calculation of cutting path has an important influence on the cutting accuracy and path optimization. In order to improve the cutting accuracy, fuzzy reasoning method is used to determine the state of curve fitting and determines the membership function based on lines and arcs in this paper. In order to improve the reasoning efficiency, two fuzzy reasoning ways are used to reason curve fitting mode in the calculating process. The improved curve fitting way may boost the fitting precision easily. Experiment results show that the designed reasoning system can reason effectively in fitting curve through arc or line.
