Abstract
ECG-imaging requires localization of ECG-electrodes in addition to the determination of body tissues. In this work, we present a portable computer vision system for electrode localization. This is a part of a non-invasive ultrasound-based ECG-imaging device. The main focus of this work is on the hardware implementation, the calibration system, and the ECG-electrode detection algorithm. With our current setup, we can measure electrode to electrode distance with 0.006 ± 0.003 mean relative error.
