Abstract
Examination is one of the most important methods to evaluate the educational quality, but it is very necessary to control well the errors related to an examination to obtain results with high reliability and validity. Moreover, attentions must be paid to the subjective test items’ scoring which leads to errors more often. So, in mass educational examinations’ scoring, online scoring system is used to reduce the bad influence which is common in paper-based scoring that scorers can see the previous mark of an item and be affected by it. This paper introduces the stages of online scoring, the methods to control the quality and the system’s functional modules to finish this work; an analysis on errors of scoring results to guide the system parameters’ setting to improve scoring quality is also mentioned.
