Abstract
As we have already pointed out, the dynamics of an open quantum system is notably different from that of a closed system; both from practical and fundamental points of view. Issues so fundamental as the existence of universally valid dynamics or the continuity in time of these, become non-trivial matters for the evolution of open quantum systems.
