Abstract
During the years 1967–1992, IBM World Trade Corporation established and operated a branch office in Iceland. At the time, IBM WTC was that part of the IBM Corporation that handled IBM operations outside the U.S. This paper addresses operational elements and the impact of a large multinational company on the business life of a small society.
