2D and 3D Digital Image Correlation Method and Its Application for Building Structural Elements’ Investigation

Abstract

This paper aims to showcase some applications of Digital Image Correlation obtained using IMiF’s own DIC software, and to present it as a general-purpose displacement measurement method, which can in many cases be a relatively cheap and simple, yet accurate replacement for other, more demanding methods.
