Abstract

The wireless billboard channels (WBCs) are used by the service providers (xSPs) for broadcasting advertisements of their services to the mobile terminals (MTs) in the ubiquitous consumer wireless world (UCWW). In this paper, a 3-layer model and a software testbed for WBCs based on the digital video broadcasting - handheld standard (DVB-H) are set out.
