Abstract

NAXI character is a kind of pictograph which still in using archaic character at present. Our task group carried out the study of NAXI character recognition preprocessing, developed a system of NAXI character recognition preprocessing based on C# , accomplished binary processing , skew correction, document layout analysis, Character Segmentation and Normalization processing, Edge Detection and some other normal functions under the guidance of Guohai teacher, laid the foundation of the further development of recognition system.
