Abstract
As byproducts derived from the regular activities of wastewater treatment plants,it is necessary to implement an adequate disposal of sludges.On the basis of introducing the study on using sewage sludge from sewage treatment plant as a source to produce a new kind of buildingmaterial-light ceramsite both at home and abroad,the application prospect of the technology on aspect of preparation technologym,technical feasibility analysis and the economic and environmental profits are discussed.
