Abstract

This paper introduces radar waveform design for a low power monostatic backscattering ionosonde. Bi-phase interpulse coded pulse train is analyzed. The waveform can achieve high pulse compression gain, long unambiguous range, highrange resolution and high Doppler resolution, and are specially suitable for low power monostatic backscattering ionosonde.
