Abstract
Recently, many people have a great interest in their leisure time for being good for their health. However, they get injured on their joint like knee or ankle in case of too heavy exercises. In this case, it is needed to cure and rehabilitate. It is able to estimate rehabilitation status using conductive fabric sensor for both measuring conveniently and realizing wearable computing technology. This paper describes about quantitative analysis of conductive fabric sensor used for a method evaluating rehabilitation status. The strip-type conductive fabric sensor is compared with an Ag/AgCl electrode for evaluating validity under knee movement condition. Subjects are composed of 10 males(age: 26.6±2.591) who have not had problems on their knee joint. The difference of bio-impedance between an Ag/AgCl electrode and the strip-type conductive fabric sensor averages 7.067±13.987Ω. As the p-value is under 0.0001 in 99 % of t-distribution, the strip-type conductive fabric sensor is correlated with an Ag/AgCl electrode.
