Abstract

The possible method for augmentation index estimation from a Finapres signal is described. The experiments were carried out on volunteers. The augmentation indices were calculated from the Finapres signal by using the proposed method and compared with the Sphygmocor reference device. As result the correlation between Sphygmocor and Finapres augmentation indices was found to be r=0.82 (p<0.001) and the regression model was constructed.
