Nach erfolgter transurethraler Resektion der Prostata (TUR-P) dient die transrektale Sonographie dem Abschätzen der Restdrüse (◘ Abb. 20.1 bis ◘ Abb. 20.3). Dies ist v. a. bei wiederkehrenden Miktionsbeschwerden wichtig.
