Abstract

Coexistence of superconductivity and magnetism is one of the most actively progressing fields in the condensed matter physics. Undoubtedly the most impressive phenomena observed in this field recently are related to spatial nonuniform superconductivity in a ferromagnet close to superconductor/ferromagnet interface. One of them is phase difference inversion in Josephson junctions with ferromagnetic weak links, SFS π-junctions. This review is devoted to physics and applications of these novel Josephson structures.
